30+ years of IT experience from customer and supplier side; typically in organizations with high complexity, e.g. healthcare, airline, municipal communities. Worked with development projects and management both in professional roles as lead architect/solution manager and as project/program manager. I advise and assist in this field with a focus on better results through effective customer and supplier collaboration.
We are familiar with statements like 80/20 and build agile; rarely do we succeed. Not out of reluctance. Initially, we break down and later get struck by reality's boomerang of complexity and interdependence. Think slowly – embrace complexity – to act quickly.

When I'm not at work
As at work, projects take up a large part of my free time. Be it house projects or volunteer work, most recently establishing an ISP network for a village in Gambia, so that internet can be extended to the schools, health clinic and internet café. When time permits, skiing and outdoor activities.
