Background
Situation
Elkjøp recently selected a new workforce management system to manage and optimize the staffing of 10,000 employees in 250 stores across the four Nordic countries. The ambition for the implementation was to execute the best project ever in the organization.
Challenge
In connection with the implementation of their workforce management system, Elkjøp wanted project and change management support. Therefore, Elkjøp contacted A-2.
Purpose
The purpose of the project was to act as a trusted advisor to Elkjøp during the implementation and ensure a delivered product within the agreed timeframe.
Approach & Results
During the implementation, A-2 acted as a trusted advisor to Elkjøp and was an essential part of the steering committee and project management throughout the project. In addition, A-2 advised and trained Elkjøp in business and behavioral design to ensure that the new system met the expected change in the organization. Finally, A-2 led the IT integrations with both internal and external parties to ensure quality of the solution and a timely delivery that aligned with other key elements of the project.

A-2 ensured that the project was delivered within the agreed timeframe, quality and budget to the highest level of satisfaction of the end users and senior stakeholders. Elkjøp's workforce management solution was adopted by the 250 stores and appreciated by 10,000 employees with minimum resistance and high satisfaction.
